Miro Bollen is currently developing a style as an audio-visual artist which is often a combination of (semi-)generative computer graphics and composed or live generated sound.

Inspired by the likes of Ikeda and Kurokawa, his works usually have a geometric aesthetic, using abstract shapes and sounds to create atmospheric scenes. These shapes along with the structures of the pieces are recurrently based on generative and chaotic processes or contained randomness which gives these pieces an organic character. Often in his work Miro stresses the sonic qualities rather than the visual aspects, but always maintaining a strong synchronicity between image and sound.

Miro focuses mostly on compositions and installations but also does live performances that are related to his audio-visual works. He has a background in classical piano and electronic music and apart from audio-visual projects, still makes electronic music by the name CREAX and is active as a drum and bass DJ.
